Some Quick Delicious Meal Ideas

The great thing about my gourmet marinara sauces is there are a variety of uses for them on the dinner table. Any one of my four sauces can liven up a main course or side dish. If you have guests coming or simply need something quick with homemade quality, be sure to try anyone of these quick meal thoughts:
- Over pasta; any of four varieties.
- Over chicken or polenta: Saute in olive oil sliced onions and add hot pepper flakes and rosemary. Add one of my marinara sauces. Pour over fried chicken or polenta and serve with fresh grated Pecorino Cheese.

- Over fish: Add black olives and capers to marinara sauce and heat. Pour over filet fish of any kind and bake until flakey.
- Over polenta or chicken, eggplant, or pasta: Saute Italian (hot, if desired) sausage, pour Mushroom and Wine sauce over cooked sausage and heat through. Pour over polenta, baked chicken, eggplant or pasta. Top with Romano cheese.
- Meatballs: Make (or store bought) meatballs. You can either cook them first or let them simmer in the sauce until done. Place them in a pot full of chunky marinara sauce and cook through. Top with Romano cheese.
- Meatloaf: Saute peppers, onions, and add Worcestershire sauce and a bit of ketchup. Pour chunky marinara sauce over mixture and heat through. Add some to the meatloaf mixture, pour the rest over the top of the loaf. Bake and serve.
- Vodka sauce: Pour over your favorite pasta. Or, over tortellini and top with fresh sage leaves and pecorino cheese.
- Pizza sauce: Any one of our varieties can be used to create your own pizza. Here’s one idea: Small amount of Mushroom and Wine sauce over pizza shell, top with grated mozzarella cheese. Bake pizza. Coat some baby spinach with extra virgin olive oil, freshly grated pecorino cheese and lemon juice. When the pizza is done, top with spinach.
