A Dream Sauce for Meat Lovers
Want to make my sauces do some double-duty? As you already know, my gourmet marinara sauces are totally meatless. If you want that hearty meat sauce quickly, try this:
MEAT LOVERS:
Sauté garlic and onions in a very small amount of olive oil and tablespoon of butter or margarine. Add lean ground beef (preferably chuck, or leaner if you like to keep the fat even lower), until brown. Add any one of my red sauces (you can choose any flavor you want!) to the meat and simmer until cooked through, about 10 to 15 minutes, depending upon the amount of beef used.
Add fresh grated Romano cheese and you’ve got the start of a complete meal. Serve over pasta, polenta or elbow macaroni. A nice glass of red wine is the one final detail I recommend to finish off this great tasting meal.

Hey Lynn, I know you’re out there. You’ve tried the vodka sauce several times on fish. Tell us how you did it and how it turned out. You all can ask Keith.

Hey Pam!! I used your classic smooth sauce and your receipe to add chopped olives. I poured it over cod and baked it, and let me tell you how delicious it was!!
My husband won’t eat any other sauce now. Thanks so much
