My ingredients include extra virgin olive oil, garlic, Italian plum tomatoes, onions and red wine. You can’t get much healthier than that!

How do you write down a recipe for something that doesn’t have one? That was the question I faced when creating my sauces. Most Italians never use written-down recipes and my family was no different. We never took measurements. We just knew the amount the sauces needed to make it delicious. Tweaking our family sauce to consistent perfection took me a couple of years but I think I got it just right. You will see what I mean after just one taste!
I wanted to get others’ opinions on the flavor of the sauce so I brought samples of it wherever I went, especially
work. My co-workers were my very first customers and guess what…They are still my best! I began jarring the sauce to lengthen its shelf life. A gourmet shop asked to include it in their gift baskets. After that grocery stores began stocking it on their shelves as a gourmet product. Everyday Casericco Marinara Sauces continues to grow.
